Please Vote For Me documents the election for class monitor in a 3rd grade class of eight-year olds in Wuhan, China. Director Wejun Chen explores how the election for the coveted school position represents attitudes towards democracy in general. The film is a part of the “Why Democracy?” series and aired in 2007.
