Autumn Gem (秋瑾)http://autumn-gem.com/ Autumn Gem is a documentary about China’s first feminist, Qiujin. Qiujin (1875-1907) defied tradition to become the leader of a revolutionary army. She was the first woman to lead an armed uprising against the Qing dynasty government, for which she was arrested and executed. Autumn Gem was released in 2009.
